OneSight, OneTeam, One Great Day!

The rains parted and Oakley showed up in full-force to serve the military community in San Diego! After all that we learned in our first day of clinic, we were able to streamline our activities and provide a great experience for volunteers and recipients. Not only was there better weather, but all of the equipment was humming, spirits were high, and recipients were grateful and having fun! While patients waited for their glasses to be produced on the OneSight lab (pictured below), they watched Shrek II and played Bingo to score Oakley prizes.

In addition to the frames donated by Oakley (pictured below), volunteers have come down from Foothill Ranch to help out in the clinic! Thanks to the support from our other Luxottica Team Members, each and every one has contributed greatly to the clinic, gained optical skills, and enjoyed making a huge difference in the lives of military families. It is privilege to serve those that have served us by providing them with a great pair of glasses! Nestor, from Oakley's military sales department, has joined us for several days to extend Oakley's support for our service men and women!

While patients were waiting, volunteers were busily working in the lab! Amy, from Oakley's retail training department, learned how to use the edging machine (pictured below) to cut the lenses. She volunteered for the day to prepare for her trip to Chicago with OneSight in May. Devin, Bryan and Nicole from Oakley's Rx Customer Service Center and Jared from Oakley's Operation's team also assisted in the lab!

The best part of the day was the joy on the children's faces as they received their glasses! Thanks to Evan, Oakley's Global Trainer, we captured many of these priceless images! We hope that these will give you a glimpse of our experience and enable you to be apart of it for a few moments!
